Call for applications for preferential loans for energy-intensive enterprises

Applications for financial aid from the priority programme named "Aid for energy-intensive businesses" organised by National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management may be submitted until 22 December 2023 or until the budget runs out. The programme aims to decarbonise energy-intensive industries in Poland.

Amount allocated for funding in the form of loans is up to 4 billion zloty.

What can be supported?

Aid is available for undertakings that aim to:

transform technological processes as well as production units by utilising low-emission energy sources;
improve energy efficiency;
reduce consumption of primary natural resources used for production, to improve resource management;
construct or convert RES systems together with energy storage facilities or connect them to the on-site and/or distribution/transmission network.

Target group

The programme is addressed to businesses which have a legal interest in an energy-intensive system and produce at least one energy-intensive product such as leather apparel, aluminium, paper or cardboard, non-ferrous metals, fibre glass mats and others, exhaustively listed by codes according to the Polish Classification of Activities / Polish Classification of Goods and Services.

Aid will be provided in the form of a loan upwards of 5 million zloty with an optional bonus of up to 40% of the paid loan.
