The power industry sector in Poland is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation. The still mainstream conventional power industry is giving way to the fast developing renewable energy sources and plans are underway to build nuclear power plants. Innovative solutions such as hydrogen technologies, biomethane production or off-shore power plants are becoming an integral part of Poland’s power landscape.

A fast technological development entails frequent and complex legislative changes, especially as the modernisation of the energy sector is one of the pillars of Europe’s Green Deal.
